Rohit's principal role at Axis-IT&T is to provide overall supervision and strategic direction to the group. Rohit has over thirty years of experience in the IT Services Industry. He has a Bachelor's Degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi and an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh, USA.

Rohit started his career in software development in 1970 in the U.S. and later moved to India to head the information technology division of Computronics India. In 1985, Rohit ventured out on his own and through a series of acquisitions and mergers created IIS Infotech Ltd., one of India's foremost software companies, of which he was the Executive Chairman. IIS was bought over by the FI Group Plc. (now Xansa Plc.), which is a UK-based multinational and Rohit exited the company. Thereafter, Rohit co-founded Infinity Venture Fund which has a corpus of US$ 40 million and bought a significant stake in IT&T and contributed to its growth and diversification. Rohit is a recipient of the IIT Delhi Alumni award for outstanding contribution to national development.

Ron has the responsibility for providing overall leadership and direction to Axis, Inc. in the US. Ron has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. degree in Industrial Management. He is a registered professional engineer in the States of Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, and Vermont.

Prior to his current position, Ron has held several senior executive positions. He was with CILCORP (a publicly traded firm since acquired by Ameren) from 1980-1995 during which time he was Vice President of Operations of the electric and gas utility and later Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions for the holding company. While with CILCORP he also founded and became Chairman and CEO of Environmental Science & Engineering, a consulting engineering firm he took from 80 to 1500 employees with offices in 31 cities providing engineering, architectural, and construction services. Prior to CILCORP, Ron was President & CEO of East Kentucky Power (1975-1980) and General Manager of the Holland Board of Public Works (1972-1975). Ron began his career in the aerospace industry and also managed the family’s construction business. Ron’s public interests include serving on the County Board and as a member of the Tri-County Planning Commission.

Anil Lall
Head of Global Engineering

Anil heads the Engineering Design functions in the group. He is a professional Mechanical Engineer. Anil has over 30 years of experience in the Engineering industry & has held senior engineering and executive positions in various organisations. While working with a premier engineering consultancy organization in India, Anil set up a new R&D facility for Kirloskar Oil Engines in Pune India. At this time, he also lead the design team who developed a high speed naturally-aspirated 4 cylinder diesel engine for re-powering Jeep vehicles manufactured in India. Anil has also worked on the development of new technologies for making possible small scale manufacture in developing countries, of paper and pulp plant and equipment utilizing renewable agro-residues/fibrous raw materials.

Dr. Gunnar Pálsson Software Development Center Manager

Gunnar heads the software development center in India. Gunnar is a veteran of the Axis software team in India and has been leading the application development activities of the group for the last three years.

Prior to joining Axis Gunnar was a researcher in the field of Theoretical Physics and is an expert in developing software for scientific modeling. He has a bachelors degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Iceland and a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, U.S.A.

Murali K Krishna Chief Operating Officer (Axis-Inc)

Murali is a graduate engineer with more than15 years of hands on experience in CAD, CAM softwares, product design, and manufacturing engineering in the automotive & aerospace industry. While working for the aerospace industry, Murali has designed and developed aircraft parts and ground support and testing equipment. He is experienced in new concept design and special machines design. He has also designed many special jigs and fixtures to support manufacturing engineering and has several years of unique experience in the CNC machining of high temperature alloys like Titanium. As lead engineer in the US, Murali is responsible for the U.S. team of onsite contract engineers, provides technical guidance to US marketing efforts, and leads offsite engineering projects from the U.S. headquarters where he resides.

Shweta Agrawal Company Secretary

Shweta is in charge of the legal & secretarial functions of the company, and is responsible for ensuring that good corporate governance practices are followed in the company. She has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from Delhi University & is an Associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India with a post qualification experience of 7 years. She is also a qualified Cost and Works Accountant from the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India. She has worked with Stock Brokers & Depository Participants and has practiced independently as a Company Secretary, gathering diversified experience from exposure to various companies & industries.

Umang Singh Vice President - Business Development

Umang Singh
Vice President - Business Development

Umang Singh is responsible for the sales targets for the European market.
He is a Chemical Engineer from IIT, Delhi. He has spent 14 years in Europe and has worked in Germany, Spain and Italy, with companies such as Borsig, Schering and Osram. After returning to India, he was with the UB Group in the Foods and Petrochemicals Divisions. He has extensive experience in marketing, sales and commercial functions.

Praveen Srivastava
Vice President - Business Development

Praveen Srivastava has done his engineering in Mechanical Engineering and done management course in International marketing from Indian Institute of Foreign trade, New Delhi (IIFT)

 Mr. Srivastava worked in manufacturing as well as service Industries. Overall he has app. 17 yrs work experience in International trade and visited more than 41 countries across the Globe. He can fluently read, write and speak Russian.

Girish Marathe
Vice President - Engineering

Girish is responsible for the Engineering function in India, providing guidance to and coordinating the off-shore engineering effort. He has a Master's Degree in Machine Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and over 29 years of experience in Automotive & Agricultural machinery sectors. Girish has held senior engineering positions in Honda Siel, LML and Claas India. As Head of R&D, he has vast experience in managing product development from “Concept to Production” and has led the design & engineering teams to develop a range of successful products – Motorcycles, IC engines, Portable GenSets & Combine Harvester - for domestic & international markets.

Pankaj Singhal

Mr. Pankaj Singhal has more than 12 years experience working in manufacturing as well as service industries. He has worked in all areas of finance, accounts and commercial departments. He has done his PGDBM (Finance) from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad and also has a degree in Civil Engineering from Engineering College, Kota.
