Schematic drawings for a harness assembly
Axis - IT&T created schematic drawings for the harness assembly
of a fuel injection system
Inputs given by the customer:
- Circuit diagram including connectors, switches, different
wires, different allocated colors for each sub system, valves,
temperature time switch
- Background assembly
- Electrical library
Delivery:
Axis - IT&T created schematic drawings of the harness assembly
using Pro/ENGINEER software, and super imposed it on the
background geometry. These geometric pictures were converted to
2D schematic drawing of the harness assembly while taking care
of various details like wire length and other parameters.

The schematic drawings were made depicting:
- Circuit table
- Bundle table
- Connection table
Customer's benefits:
- Reduction in detailing time
- Savings in detailing cost
